Leggett Family

I went out last weekend to photograph a happy family in Falls Church Va. It was really fun to become a part of the family for an hour. Here's a glimpse of the leaves, smiles and fun we had photographing together.

love in fall.... fall in love

Kris and I are reunited once again.... for a while this time. And it feels great. These trees were just so wonderful. I had forgotten what it felt like to be slightly chilled by the wind, smell the leaves and fireplaces and hear the rustle under my toes. Not to mention, be able to hug my husband during all of this. Home til a small deployment in December and then home til January, we will spend asmuch time together as possible before heading back to a long distance relationship for months.

Baby has been well... we have a middle name, it will be Estelle... and last name Nichols....so I suppose we are 66.6666% of the way done naming our baby girl. We get to see her on Friday and are very excited! New pictures soon!

Renaissance Festival-2010

We went as a big family to the Renaissance festival, it was fun. My brother and his four beautiful girls and my other brother and his fiance, and of course the grandparents, it was lots of fun. Face painting, turkey legs, jousting, costumes, good times.

Dog Shows-Howard County

My stepmom is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever Breeder, she has been involved in breeding her whole life. At our house there is anywhere from 3 to 8 dogs at any point, not counting when there may be a litter of puppies. The dog show atmosphere is very odd to me and always has been. It's somewhat quiet except the random tiffs and barks the dogs get into, but overall, people are stressed, excited and very involved. There are always a few cute moments when you can really tell the handlers/owners are very involved in their dog and there's a connection that exists. Some come to the shows as spectators, some as very serious competitors. Here's a few photos of the dog show life. Howard County Fairgrounds and Catonsville Kennel Club.

Proud Aunt KT!

I enjoyed going to Homecoming to watch Joey's undefeated team win, once again. The cheerleaders were too cute during their little halftime show :) What made me laugh is that they weren't exactly in sync with one another, but they were cute! Joey...THE TANK... Zimmerman was a little embarrassed to wave or anything, he came out and ran right back to the line. Yay for the division champions! Go Tigers. You never would have guessed that at the beginning of the season he used to "hate football" and complained cause it was "too hot" well, both of those have changed!

Ashley and Mike's wedding!

Congratulations Ashley and Michael Boese! I'm so glad I was a part of your special day! It was quite a hike to get down there, but totally worth it. And thanks to my wonderful assistant, Michael Denney. Such a great time, and Ashley, you're so beautiful I'm so proud of you! Pink and white and black were the colors of the day. It was a fun time getting all the kids together, they have 6 between the two of them.... including two sets of twins. :) Love you guys! It was super dark by the time we broke away to take a few photos, it was fun recreating light though :) Thanks for the challenge.
